The House of Silk – book review

The House of Silk: A Sherlock Holmes NovelThe House of Silk: A Sherlock Holmes Novel by Anthony Horowitz

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sherlock Holmes has always been my favorite detective. I first read The Hound of the Baskervilles when I was living in London, which made the London fog ever so much more exciting for me during my stay.

So I was pretty excited to see that a “new” Sherlock Holmes story was ready for consumption. Anthony Horowitz has done a wonderful job of creating the same tone as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle while giving us something new to chew on.

I loved it and was listening to it while pottering around in the kitchen making Christmas caramels – which might be the reason they didn’t get to the firm ball stage.

Hope there are more stories up your sleeve Mr. Horowitz!
