This past weekend we had Vikings visiting and had to check out the Armory at the Emden Museum.
Vikings love swords, shields, armor and spears. You can let your imagination run wild thinking about the battles and drama that have taken place with the hundreds of weapons they have on display on the fourth floor.
If you dare walk two stories up you will find the belfry where you can gaze out over Emden city center but I would not recommend doing this on the whole or the half hour.
