Treasure hunting at Foire International

This past weekend we made the jaunt to the 91th International Antique fair and flea market in L’isle Sur la Sorgue, where the prices are infamously high and the merchandise almost too shabby to be chic.

Although, I think the provincial sunshine (and maybe a bit of rose´) can make anything lovely again. We filled up the car with fun things for the Christmas market in Haugesund. Mostly enameled buckets and tables, I do regret that we didn’t buy the mosaic elephant.

  1. I LOVE the enameled buckets and pitchers and the rusty, iron urns… and the bird houses too! Your pictures are always so awesome!! Thanks for yet another fine little coffee break touring Europe.
