West coast summer nights

Sometimes summer on the west coast of Norway is hard to differentiate from winter. The first year I lived in Norway, I was sure our thermometer was broken because it was always at 13 degrees celsius (55 °F).  It wasn’t, by the way, that was the real temperature from June to January but sometimes the weather gods send you a perfect day.

That is what we had this past weekend while we were visiting Feøy, an island just outside of Haugesund. The perfect day. No wind. Clear blue skies. Warm enough to wear short sleeves until the sun went down, just past eleven PM.
